number of different jobs, obtained full time employment with The Western

Entered the US Army shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950.
Trained at Fort Jackson, Fort Benning, and Camp Kilmer before sailing for
Germany. Completed special training at the European Command Staff
Intelligence School at Oberammergau, Germany and served with the 4th
Engineer Combat Battalion of the 4th Infantry Division.
Returned to the US in late 1952 after completing my tour of overseas duty.
Served in the 8th Infantry Division and the 4th Infantry Division.
Resumed my employment with The Western Union Telegraph Company and attended
the University of Chattanooga to continue studies for the BS degree
requirements. Received the Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Physics at the University of Chattanooga in 1961.
Served as Plant Engineer at The Western Union Telegraph Company until 1963.
Accepted employment with Sverdrup Technology, Inc. at the Arnold Engineering
Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee in 1963. Retired
from Sverdrup Technology, Inc as a Lead Engineer in 1984. Employed as

My years at Bonny Oaks School were a great learning experience and I have
only pleasant memories.
