Dear
Mr. Adamson,
Happy
Birthday. We didn't get to my Tyner Class Reunion in June so I
missed going by to visit you and Mrs. A.
When
you first came to Bonny Oaks, I was one of Mom Turner's girls at the Big
Girls Building, Sara K. Patten Hall. All my memories are good
ones. Oh, I do remember having appointments to come to your
office. Some of the girls called it "a summons to Mr.
Adamson's office". I remember most of the time I felt much
better after leaving that before arriving. You always had words of
encouragement. You had a pleasant, positive voice. And you
seldom raised your voice to me.
You
helped me learn to think before I acted - to analyze a situation or
problem and to see how I could improve or do better next time. So
I give you credit for my making a plan and working it and sticking to it.
I
am thankful God put you in my life. There is so much more I could
write. I will keep you in my prayers. Paul and I have
fond memories of you and Mrs. A., and we hold both of you
in very high esteem.
God
Bless You and Mrs. A. Always,
Joyce
